AXA is a leading global provider of risk protection and financial services products. We are seeking to appoint an experienced underwriter who is looking to expand and utilise their knowledge towards a key project that will involve translating underwriting rules and formulas into a specialist online underwriting software package (AURA). 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Continually seeking opportunities to enhance underwriting service through the use of technology
  • Creating and maintaining electronic underwriting solutions and decision making rules
  • Preparing underwriting guidelines and conducting audits
  • Providing technical advice to the underwriting teams

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience as an underwriter, have a high level of organisational skills, excellent communication and writing skills, a sound knowledge of local and global market trends and competitor offerings. Having exposure or technical experience with using an automated underwriting application is advantageous.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be a leading expert in a growth area that is in high demand. Full training will be provided to the right person to help them understand, maintain and essentially develop the automated underwriting application system, as you will be heavily involved with setting up, testing, rolling out and training. There is a competitive remuneration package to attract the right person to the role.
